Job Description

Lycoming College is hiring an Athletics Communication Assistant to join our Marketing and Athletics teams

The successful candidate will work with all of the College’s 19 varsity athletic teams to promote and provide coverage of the athletic programs. This is a part-time position that is allotted a maximum of 1,450 hours annually mainly working an average of 30 hours per week from August-June. The pay for this position is $15.46 per hour.

What will I do in this role? - Promote and publicize the department of athletics through campus, local and national media outlets as well as through the lycomingathletics.com and social media avenues. - Serve as a writer and editor for the department’s website, programs and other printed pieces. - Produce video features and highlight content for YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and lycomingathletics.com.

What are we looking for? - Bachelor’s degree in sports management, journalism, communications or relevant field.
