Position Summary

The Athletics Development – Student Assistant assists and supports the Cardinals Club development team through event, hospitality, and donor experience support. The Student Assistant reports to Sr. Director of Development – Athletics.

This position is funded by the Federal Work-Study program and is open to UIW students who are approved and eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study Program.

Essential Functions

• Assist with the preparation for various special events throughout the year (set up and break down tables/chairs, tents, stock coolers, etc.).
• Provide excellent customer service to donors and guests at Cardinals Club events, and on gamedays.
• Support fundraising and donor stewardship initiatives (stuffing mailers, phone calls, checking in guest at events).
• Directly aid the Director of Development for Athletics with all duties as assigned.
• Perfom otherd duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Punctuality, good attendance. - Positive attitude. - Appropriate office and gameday attire with a professional demeanor. - Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet. - Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. - Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.
