University of the Incarnate Word is a Catholic institution that welcomes to its community persons of diverse backgrounds, in the belief that their respectful interaction advances the discovery of truth, mutual understanding, self-realization, and the common good.
The Athletics Development – Student Assistant assists and supports the Cardinals Club development team through event, hospitality, and donor experience support. The Student Assistant reports to Sr. Director of Development – Athletics.
This position is funded by the Federal Work-Study program and is open to UIW students who are approved and eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study Program.
Qualifications
| Knowledge Skills and Abilities |
- Punctuality, good attendance.
- Positive attitude.
- Appropriate office and gameday attire with a professional demeanor.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
- Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA.

Interest in sports, college athletics, hospitality, or event planning.

- Flexible hours available depending on the selected candidate’s schedule.
