Summary of Position: To assist the Office Manager and other Athletic Administrative staff in the daily operation of the Athletics office. Duties and Responsibilities Answer Athletics Department phone Manage day to day office functions Office supply ordering and inventory tracking Organize and maintain office files (physical and digital) Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Manager Take minutes for all departmental meetings as needed Help set up for all departmental meetings as needed Run errands throughout campus as needed Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.
Education High school diploma Associate's degree or higher preferred Experience Experience in customer service, preferably within higher education Experience working with Microsoft Office 365 (specifically Outlook, Teams & SharePoint) Required Skills Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively Reliable, responsible, and punctual Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information Professional and courteous phone etiquette Friendly, approachable, and customer service–oriented attitude
