QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required:

 

Additional Minimum License/Certification

• CPR certified bi-annually.
• Position will participate in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Pull Notice System

Minimum Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training with a college – level program.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA)

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of the rules and techniques of tennis. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching techniques, coaching strategies and safety measures that are necessary to compete at the collegiate level.

• Ability to express ideas clearly, concisely, and logically, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to interact effectively and establish cooperative working relationships with highly motivated UC Davis student-athletes, coaching colleagues, department staff and other persons from diverse backgrounds including parents, fans, boosters, members of the media an officials associated with this sport.
• Ability to learn the complex policies and procedures regarding academic eligibility of UC Davis student-athletes. These include UC Davis, California Collegiate Athletic Association and the National Collegiate Athletic Association policies and procedures.
