Job Description

The University of Missouri Athletics Department is looking to hire a Construction Manager. Reporting to the Director of Facility Maintenance, the Construction Manager will be charged with managing internal construction projects as required by a high-level Division One Athletics Department.

Duties will include:

• Ensuring that all facilities adhere to proper safety standards
• Maintaining inventory and keeping in good working order all equipment needed to perform functions
• Communicating with external contractors and vendors
• Ensuring that all work performed by contractors is complaint with contract documents
• Planning, tracking, and prioritizing facility projects and ensuring clear and consistent communications
• Directing facilities operations in a manner that supports the Department of Athletics mission and goals while meeting project deadlines
• Preparing and implementing project budgets and time-frames

Shift

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in athletics facility management; 2yrs. experience on construction site with trade experience.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $50,367.29 - $60,000.00

Grade: GGS-10
