Coordinator of Creative Services/Social Media for Athletics

Job Description:

Mount St. Mary’s University invites applications for position of Coordinator of Creative Services/Social Media for Athletics. Mount St. Mary’s is a Division I program in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. This position will report to the Associate Director of Athletics for Communications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Some of the major responsibilities include:

• Handle creative services for the athletic department.  This includes creating graphics for social media, video for social media (reels, etc.), producing hype videos, and general graphic needs for the department.
• Responsible for social media game day graphics, win graphics, etc., for the Mount athletic teams.  Work with each team on their individual social media accounts as well.
• Provide content for the in-house television screens around campus, and also for the video board for men’s basketball games.
• Responsible for the management of photography for the department, including maintaining the Athletic Department’s Flickr page.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: Education, Experience and Skills:

The appointed individual will:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree
• Possess experience with all forms of social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram).
• Possess experience in video editing using Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro preferred.
• Be willing to work long hours/nights/weekends.
• Be able to communicate with coaches, media and staff.
• Have experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Pay Range:

$ 43,888 - $45,000

(compensation depending on experience, education, and qualifications)
