Job Description Summary
The Deputy Director of Athletics (Deputy AD) is a key advisor to the Vice President & Director of Athletics (VP/AD), the Senior Deputy Athletics Director, and the Athletics Executive Leadership Team. This position provides leadership for key operating units and strategic projects and partnerships. The Deputy AD will hold a portfolio of staff and unit leadership across several student-athlete, partner, and constituent areas and serve as a sport supervisor for assigned programs. The person in this position may serve as the University’s designated NCAA and Atlantic Coast Conference Senior Woman Administrator (SWA).
