Position Summary:

Arkansas State University-Jonesboro, a Football Bowl Subdivision member of the Sun Belt Conference that sponsors 16 sports, seeks applicants for a Coordinator of Development Operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Facilitate ticket sales and revenue generation within athletics department
• Assist in the creation of policies and procedures to improve overall operations of the Red Wolves Foundation
• Frequent interactions with donors, staff members, coaches, community leaders and the campus community
• Requires attendance at certain sporting events and other donor and campus events
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of fundraising, business development or sales.

Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.

Ability to work well with a team or individually.

Effective oral and written communication skills, and have a strong attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required

Experience in web design and donor/ticket software are a plus

General Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with frequent nights, weekends and holidays.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.

One (1) to three (3) years of relevant work experience is required.
