Director of Athletic Compliance

Position Summary

The Director of Compliance supports the Assistant AD for Compliance in ensuring institutional adherence to NCAA, conference, and university regulations. This role manages student-athlete aid distribution, oversees compliance reporting and documentation, assist in developing educational initiatives for staff and athletes, and maintains compliance databases and workflows to promote integrity and accountability within SUU Athletics.

Essential Functions

• Prepare and execute financial aid contracts, compliance packets, eligibility lists, and other NCAA documents for student athletes.

• Manage system of distribution of student athlete athletics aid

• Support Assistant AD for Compliance in developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures

• Develop and implement educational initiatives for student athletes and staff

• Provide support in the implementation and maintenance of the compliance database, its workflows and other functions

• Gather documentation and preparation of NCAA required reporting & attestations

Education & Experience

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field.

• Spreadsheets.

• Accounting procedures.

• Excellent Communication Skills.

• Excellent Organizational Skills.

• Remain calm in pressure and stress filled situations.
