- Fundraising
- Research individuals and organizations that are prospects for engagement and solicitation of donor funds for ESports.
- Coordinate fundraising efforts for special projects with potential partners and sponsors to maximize opportunities.
- Secure funding for ongoing ESports scholarships.
- Develop, maintain, and update policies for the casual and competitive divisions of ESports.
Facilitate ongoing growth and development of the ESports program through:
Establish and maintain a broadcasting and content creation channel for the program (e.g., Twitch TV).
Assume primary supervisory responsibility, along with student volunteers, for the ESports community Discord to ensure appropriate communication free from cyberbullying.

- Maintain holistic goals and support for all participants to facilitate health, wellness, and academic success
- Mentor and train ESports participants, both casual and competitive, in soft skills and career-building activities such as resume creation, office etiquette, networking skills, and conference attendance.
- Engage participants with guest speakers, education, and activity.
- Maintain a structured program, such as Quest, that facilitates, monitors, measures, and closes the loop on the members’ health, well-being, and academic performance
- Supervise and facilitate a robust Learning Living Community in the designated residence hall
- potentially live in the LLC hall
- host activities in the LLC that build community within esports and recruit new members

- Plan and schedule recruitment and tryout sessions, and maintain statistics on engagement.
- Plan and organize ESports Team practice sessions.
- Ensure that the ESports Arena is well-maintained and that all equipment is in working order to facilitate practice and competition.
- Monitor the GPAs of team members and maintain accountability for study hours to remain eligible for competitive teams.

- Outreach
- Support University recruitment, enrollment, and retention by ensuring that the ESports arena is included on Admissions tours and that the program is represented in University brochures.
- Establish, maintain, and regulate all social media presence of the ESports program.
- Work with University Camps and Conferences to plan, budget, and present annual ESports camps during summer and K-12 holidays.
- Engage with units across the University and community to have ESports representation through activities such as:
- Hosting competitive gaming tournaments through intramurals, community participation, and watch parties, to include tailgating activities.
- Offering interest meetings and workshops;
- Hosting high school competition nights;
- Designing and offering leadership workshops, among other initiatives.
