General Summary

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the football program including team travel, housing and meal plans, academics, financial aid, compliance, and team communication.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Adheres to any and all NCAA, Mid-American Conference, and Eastern Michigan University policies, rules, regulations, and operational procedures.
• Coordinates all aspects of team travel, including, but not limited to, transportation, lodging, meals, and logistics.
• Oversee and manage Teamworks database, including daily/weekly/monthly schedules and communication for student-athletes, coaches, and support staff.
• Assists in the on-campus recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
• Oversee all aspects of special events including awards banquet, Coaches' clinics, champions for life series, victory day, and football golf outing.
• Coordinates all community service functions for the football program.
• Oversee the student-athlete onboarding process (NCAA initial eligibility center, university admissions, housing, etc.).
• Assist with all roster management duties including maintaining current player and recruiting files with ARMS and Teamworks.
• Coordinate all logistics of the annual summer football camp series.
• Serves as the liaison between all departments on football program-related matters.
• Supervise coordination of all student-athlete housing and meal plans for the football program.
• Perform other related departmental duties as assigned.
• Other duties are as assigned by the head football coach.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree is required.

Three years of experience working in football operations or as a coach/staff member of an intercollegiate or professional football team is desirable.

Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is desirable.

Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to successfully interact with diverse individuals from both University and community related constituencies for maximizing University and departmental goals, objectives, relationships and representation.

Must possess the ability to work extended hours, meet project deadlines, and work under time-constrained pressures.

Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, analytical, interpretive, and written communication skills are necessary.

Ability to work nights, weekends, and non-traditional hours.
