Job Summary:
Reporting directly to the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Strategic Impact, Leadership and Student Engagement, this position is responsible for the development of the overall strategy and management of the King NU P.R.I.D.E. Program, the focus of which is the holistic development of Northwestern Student-Athletes. The Director of the King NU P.R.I.D.E. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's degree, or appropriate combination of education and experience.
Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience with student services in intercollegiate athletics; experience with the development and facilitation of training/educational workshops and dialogue spaces.
Ability to communicate effectively one-to-one, in small groups, and in public speaking contexts.
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated effective written communication skills, including but limited to well-organized emails, letters and proposals.
Ability to be self-motivated, detail oriented, and to prioritize competing demands in fast-paced environment.
Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
Ability to work cooperatively with others and effectively interact and establish engaging relationships with a wide variety of constituents.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of rules and regulations of the NCAA, CSC, Big Ten Conference and Northwestern University preferred
Advanced degree in applicable areas of study preferred.
Target hiring range for this position will be between $70,017-$75,000 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
