Description

Albion College invites applications for the Part-Time Diving Coach. The Diving Coach supports the Head Swimming Coach in all aspects of coaching Albion College’s Swimming and Diving program with providing instruction to student-athletes as the primary responsibility. This includes supervising student-athletes in drills and activities that would provide conditioning, technique training, and mental preparation. Secondary responsibilities may include recruiting, scouting, and practice operation. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload with sensitivity and confidentiality. This position will actively promote diversity, belonging and equity through critical and compassionate communication and strategic outreach efforts to various students, faculty and staff (e.g., historically under-represented, first-generation, undocumented and DACA students, LGBTQ students).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in collegiate athletics as a player or coach preferred
