Reporting to the Athletic Director, the Head Coach supports the mission of the University by leading and managing all aspects of their respective program/s, developing and executing effective coaching strategies, recruiting talented student-athletes and retaining them, overseeing team practices and games, fostering a positive team culture, manage operating budgets, and ensuring the overall success and growth of the programs.
Oversee all aspects of the program/s operations, including, but not limited to, the development and management of all full-time, part-time, volunteer, and/or student assistant coaching staff while ensuring their compliance with the University mission and values.
Evaluate, recruit, coach, and mentor qualified student-athletes and prepare the team/s for a full intercollegiate athletic experience.
Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment plan allowing for enrollment targets and revenue goals to be obtained for the entire coaching staff, ensuring a robust and competitive roster from the local, regional, and national landscape, while staying within the recruiting budget.
Execute approved scholarship offers.
Support the University's commitment to academic excellence, academic integrity, and retention and graduation of student-athletes by overseeing student-athlete academic progress. Direct student-athletes to the appropriate academic professionals to ensure academic success while remaining available for consultation and support.
Assist with the well-being of student-athletes using a holistic approach.
Ensure a culture of compliance around all NAIA, WHAC, and Lourdes University rules and regulations, and engage all coaching staff members and student-athletes to do the same.
Coordinate team/s fundraising initiatives and participate in all Lourdes University fundraising initiatives upon request, serving as an Ambassador for Lourdes University.
Oversee the marketing and promotion of the team/s, athletic program, and Lourdes University as needed.
Responsible for all the aspects related to team/s budget and maintain inventory of all equipment, uniforms, and supplies.
Collaborate with the Athletic Director and other coaches to work on a game and practice schedule that works for everyone.

Computer Skills – This position is expected to have computer literacy.
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of three years coaching experience required, college level coaching preferred
