Simpson College seeks qualified candidates for the position of Full Time Head Coach – Men’s Volleyball/Assisant Coach – Women's Volleyball. 

This position reports directly to the Director of Men's & Women's Volleyball programs and will manage the day-to-day operations for the men’s volleyball program and assist with the women’s volleyball program emphasizing:

Principal Duties:

1. Recruitment and retention of qualified student athletes and the development of sustainable, competitive rosters
2. Organize and execute daily practices for student athlete skill development/performance
3. Monitor the academic progress for all student athletes for both programs
4. Supervision of each program’s operational budget
5. Scheduling of all competitions and events for each program
6. Fundraising support for program needs 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Strong written and oral communication skills,
• Ability to work with a diverse student and staff population, 
• Strong organization skills, 
• Demonstrable aptitude for computer skills (PC-based Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel), and 
• The successful candidate will also have the ability to work as a team member as well as independently.
