Description

Friends University, an NAIA program and member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference in Wichita, Kansas, has an opening for a graduate assistant in the sports information department.

The Graduate Assistant SID will have duties that include, but not limited to, keying in and spotting gameday statistics, compiling video interviews of student-athlete and coaches, writing press releases and game recaps, creating gameday and postgame graphics, along with other duties as assigned by the Sports Information Director.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled as student at Friends University.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree and possess strong writing and communication skills. Previous experience in a sports information office is preferred.

Compensation includes a $4,000 yearly stipend and a 100 % discount in tuition.
