Assist in the creation and production of engaging content for various digital platforms, including social media, website, and email newsletters.
Draft press releases, feature stories, and game recaps highlighting student-athletes, coaches, and athletic programs.
Capture and edit photos and videos to enhance storytelling and promotion efforts.
Game Day Operations:
Provide support during home athletic events, including setup, statistics, and media accommodations.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of game day operations.
Statistics:
Compile, update, and distribute statistical information for various sports teams.
Utilize statistical software and databases to analyze trends and performance metrics.
Administrative Support:
Perform general office duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining filing systems.
Assist with scheduling, meetings, and travel arrangements as needed.
Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Director of Athletic Communications.
Will oversee specific jobs throughout the year.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in digital media tools and platforms, including social media management, Adobe Creative Suite, and content management systems.
Knowledge of sports terminology, rules, and statistics.
Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Expected to work nights and weekends.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Previous experience in athletic communications, media relations, or a related field is a plus.
Must be able to climb stairs and lift 50 pounds for certain jobs.
