Job Description:

Job Summary: Christian Brothers University Athletics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Assistant to support gameday operations, athletic events, and select compliance-related activities. This role provides valuable hands-on experience in collegiate athletics administration and is ideal for candidates pursuing a career in sports management or athletic administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with planning and execution of gameday operations for all home athletic events
• Support coordination and setup of athletic facilities for competitions and special events
• Provide assistance with event management, including staffing, scheduling, and logistics
• Assist with creating and distributing team travel rosters
• Provide support with general compliance-related tasks as needed
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by athletics staff

 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required; acceptance into a CBU graduate program required

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and flexible hours based on event schedules
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in collegiate athletics administration or sports management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in athletics operations or event management
• Familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations
