Job Summary

Working with the Auburn Athletics Event Management team, this position will assist in all aspects of event management.

Essential Functions

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Assisting the game manager or serving as game Manager/main point of contact at assigned sports and events Preparing and distributing communications & materials for gameday operations Leading in event staffing scheduling, training and education – contracted and student staff Assist with facility setup and credentialing Managing all day-to-day office responsibilities as assigned Candidates must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and a willingness to work nights and weekend hours.

Minimum Qualifications

Admitted to a graduate degree-seeking or certificate program at Auburn University. Bachelor’s degree in business, sport management, or related field. Registered for at least one course (anything carrying an Auburn University course number) during each academic term of the assistantship. Expectations:Candidates must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, and a willingness to work nights and weekend hours. We are looking for a candidate who desires to hold this position for two years.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a collegiate or professional sport event management is preferred.
