Job Description

The University of Indianapolis is looking for an energetic and driven Graduate
Assistant to support Marketing and Revenue Generation within the Athletics Department. This role is central to elevating the game day atmosphere, taking the lead on planning and executing in‐game promotions for all UIndy athletic events. Key responsibilities include activating sponsorship initiatives, boosting ticket and group sales, and managing game day promotional activities. The Graduate Assistant will also design and implement creative marketing strategies aimed at engaging students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the broader community, strengthening overall involvement and support for Greyhound Athletics. This position reports directly to the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions within UIndy Athletics.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to NCAA Division II values.
 

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Key Responsibilities
● Develop, organize, and deliver in‐game promotions that elevate fan engagement and strengthen the game day atmosphere at all athletic events.
● Assist in planning and implementing marketing campaigns to increase attendance, ticket sales, and community involvement.
● Supervise and support the student staff working within the marketing and promotions office.
● Activate and fulfill sponsorship elements in collaboration with corporate partners.
● Develop and enhance gameday promotions by creating themes, scripts, in‐game entertainment elements, and supporting marketing materials.
● Support the development and promotion of the Hound Pound Loyalty Program to boost student participation and engagement.

● Lead efforts to promote student, faculty, alumni, and the broader community attendance through creative outreach and engagement.
● Support group ticket sales initiatives, including outreach, coordination, and event-day logistics.
● Work closely within the external team in UIndy Athletics to generate and implement fresh, innovative ideas.
