Job Summary

The Event and Facilities Graduate Assistant will be responsible for: 

• Managing the day to day event operations of The Coliseum and the UWG Athletic Complex. 
• Facility reservations, operating supplies, payroll and management of student staff .

Job Summary

The Event and Facilities Graduate Assistant will be responsible for: 

• Managing the day to day event operations of The Coliseum and the UWG Athletic Complex. 
• Facility reservations, operating supplies, payroll and management of student staff . 
• Assist with special events held within the Coliseum and UWG Athletic Complex as well as mandatory University events such as move-in day, graduation, orientation, convocation, etc.
• Must be able to walk and/or sit for long periods of time. 
• Able to work nights and/or weekends. 
• May have to work in extreme weather conditions (i.e. rain, freezing temps).

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor¿s degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or other related field.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to collaboratively work with students, faculty, staff, and the community.
