Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Softball Graduate Assistant. This position will assist the Head Softball with daily operations of the UNG Softball program. Emphasis on instructing pitchers preferred. This position will include a tuition waiver.

Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Softball Graduate Assistant. This position will assist the Head Softball with daily operations of the UNG Softball program. Emphasis on instructing pitchers preferred. This position will include a tuition waiver. 

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily practice.
• Assist with recruiting.
• Assist with game day management.
• Assist with maintenance of softball facility and Coleman Fieldhouse
• Assist with community service activities.
• Assist with fundraising.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Head Softball Coach.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Overall knowledge in the game of softball. 
• Strong communication skills both oral and written.

Required Qualifications

• Must currently have, or will obtain by the start date a Bachelor's Degree. 
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of six graduate credit hours by start date. 
• Admission into a UNG Graduate Program required.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification
• Experience playing/coaching at the collegiate level. Experience with sport analytics.
