Graduate Assistant – Sports Information
Quincy University seeks qualifies applicants for the position of Graduate Assistant-Sports Information.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
– Serves as representative of the University, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with members of the QU community and with the public.
– Assist in promotion of appropriate material for distribution platforms.
– Develop comprehensive social media strategy for all sports programs.
– Assist in arranging team and/or individual photographs and videography for all sponsored sports.
– Assist in the production of graphics and post-game stories/press releases.
– Maintain athletic website
– Recruitment of student volunteers
– Develop and promote relationships with local media
– Assist with game day promotions and activities.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree
– Enrolled in Quincy University Master’s Program
