Job Description

Hiram College invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Women’s Volleyball. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the recruitment, retention, and day-to-day operations of the Hiram College Women’s Volleyball Program. Hiram College is a member of the North Coast Athletic Conference and NCAA Division III.

The successful candidate is responsible for assisting in all aspects of a competitive women’s collegiate volleyball program to include successfully organizing and implementing a recruiting/retention plan, integrating the program into the campus community, developing a vibrant summer camp program, supervising practice/contests, management of program budget, fundraising to support program and supporting student-athlete success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in directing all aspects of the women’s volleyball program including, practice, competition, fundraising.
  • Assist in developing and implement an effective recruitment program, in coordination with Hiram College Admission Office, to attract outstanding student-athletes.
  • Adhere to all policies, rules and regulations of the Hiram College Athletic Department, the NCAA
  • Provide guidance and support to student-athletes towards achieving their greatest potential both academically and athletically.
  • Monitor class schedules, grades and student-athlete academic progress.
  • Contribute to the fundraising activities for women’s volleyball program.
  • Assist the head coach in the development and operation of a successful summer camp program.
  • Participate in the Annual Day with Hiram Golf Outing.
  • Other duties as assigned.
