POSITION VACANCY
Head Athletic Trainer
Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA is seeking a Head Athletic Trainer to join our team.
Westminster College, which fields 22 varsity sports and 500+ student-athletes, participates as a
member of the President’s Athletic Conference at the NCAA Division III level.
This is a 10-month (August to May) position paid over 12-months. Responsibilities include, but
not limited to: prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries/illnesses to student
athletes and other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. The head athletic trainer will have
contact with all sports and all aspects of the profession. Communication with team physicians and
affiliated specialists. Oversee athletic referrals to physicians and diagnostic tests. Maintain and
implement EAP and SOP.
Qualifications include: Master’s Degree, BOC certification and PA Medical License in good
standing; 5 years at Collegiate Level. Strong background in rehabilitation. Good oral and written

communication skills; Supervise staff of three full time ATC’s; ability to work effectively with
coaches, student athletes and other members of the College community; adherence to the
standards of professional and ethical behavior of the NCAA and Presidents’ Athletic Conference.
Travel responsibilities and weekends required.
