| Essential Job Functions |
- Responsible for the technical and performance development of each squad member assuring each is learning an developing with skills, techniques and performance standards throughout each season
- Serves as a resource for developing, implementing, and enforcing cheerleader policies and procedures
- Provides regular support and direction and makes retention of students a goal and priority
- Provides strong academic emphasis and support of academic through leadership and activities of the squad
- Mindful of the contribution the cheer squad makes to the University community, including academic performance and participation in, and contribution to, alternate activities

| Qualifications |
Bachelor’s degree
Two (2) years’ cheerleader experience as a participant or coach
