Duties of the Lipscomb Academy 5th and 6th Grades Head Cheer Coach:

• Must have proficiency in the fundamentals of cheer and be able to teach proper techniques to the athletes at the 5th and 6th grade level
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with athletes, parents, and coaches
• Experience in leadership roles and experience in cheerleading
• The head coach's leadership must positively impact the physical, spiritual, social, and emotional development of student-athletes
• Maintain the highest order of professionalism and display the highest level of ethical and moral behavior at all times, including building positive relationships with athletes, coaches, parents, and the community
  
• Create a Christ-centered environment and team culture of service to others that reflects the Lipscomb Academy Mission Statement
  
• Guide student-athletes in learning appropriate sportsmanship, cooperation, work ethic, personal responsibility, and competitiveness to all student-athletes
  
• Incorporate spiritual, service, and fellowship opportunities for your squad to bond together and within the community
• Available to practice 1-2 afternoons per week during both Football and Basketball seasons (August - February)
• Available for Home games during weekdays (August - February)
• Available for Cheer Camp in July
