Coe College seeks qualified candidates for the position of Head Coach for Dance Team. This part-time position is responsible for planning, organizing and supervising a varsity dance program within the spirit, policies, and rules of Coe College. The head coach is responsible for all aspects of coaching the team including recruiting, annual budget oversight, practice, competition, and travel. The head coach is responsible for designing and administering programs, policies, and services that will contribute to the education and welfare of its student-athletes.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Plan and supervise practices and competitions.
Thorough knowledge of the principles, practices and safety associated with directing a competitive college dance team.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the techniques, fundamentals and best practices associated with coaching a competitive college dance team.
Recruit prospective student-athletes that have inquired about attending Coe College and participating in the varsity dance team.
Manage assigned budgets.
Secure and maintain equipment and uniforms/costumes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Previous competitive dance team coaching/directing experience preferred.
