Position: Head Coach – Men’s and Women’s Track & Field / Cross Country

Reports to: Director of Athletics

Position Summary:

The Head Coach for Men’s and Women’s Track & Field / Cross Country plans and directs the conditioning, training, and performance of student athletes, along with fiscal program management, and recruiting for Keystone College while adhering to all Division III NCAA, United East, Athletic Department, and College rules and regulations.

The position provides leadership in the department by fostering a structured environment that is diverse and inclusive. It enriches the student experience through recruiting, retention and engagement of current and future student athletes at Keystone College.

Primary Responsibilities

• Recruiting qualified student-athletes

• Organize and lead practice, conditioning, and workouts

• Budgeting, scheduling, coaching, coordinating transportation

• Monitor Academic Progress

• Fundraising

• Site Supervision and administrative duties as assigned

• Adhering to all Division III NCAA, United East Conference, Athletic Department, and College rules and regulations.

• Promoting the program through community events and public relations activities.

• Other duties as assigned.

Experience, Competencies and Education

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Collegiate participation experience and/or coaching experience in the respective sport

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required
• Must be available for evening and weekend to travel as necessary
• Valid driver’s license required
