Responsibilities: Designs, implements and evaluates the Men’s Basketball program. Performs all related administrative duties as assigned, to include recruiting, travel, budget oversight, resource management and media communications

Minimum Requirements:
1. Must be an active and committed Christian who will support the University’s mission and who will be an active participant in their local church. 2. A Bachelor’s degree is required. 3. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a basketball coach is required. Coaching at the collegiate level is preferred. 4. Knowledge of NCAA and Conference rules and regulations. 5. Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.) is required. 6. Proficiency in general office equipment operation is required. 7. Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills. 8. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and be insurable by UMHB auto insurance carrier. 9. Must agree to the University’s Employee Statement of Understanding.
