About The Position:
This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of a competitive
NCAA
Division
III
Men’s Lacrosse Program, including but not limited to; practice planning, recruiting, game day management, and scheduling. This position will assist the Director of Athletics and Recreation with the long-term planning and development of the Men’s Lacrosse program and an additional administrative area will also be assigned. The department of Athletics & Recreation subscribes to the philosophy that athletics complements the total education experience of our students. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Head or assistant lacrosse coaching experience at the
NCAA
level
Demonstrated understanding of
NCAA
Rules and Regulations
A valid driver’s license at the time of appointment and the ability and willingness to drive fleet vehicles
CPR
/
AED
certification will be required within one month of appointment
Demonstrated skills in leadership, communication, organization and relationship building
Willingness and ability to perform some evening and weekend work
A demonstrated ability to work effectively with faculty, staff and administrators
Preferred Qualifications:
Collegiate head coaching experience
Master’s degree
Demonstrated experience with developing productive relationships with various internal and external constituents, including students
SUNYAC
coaching and/or playing experience
Salary (Applicant View)
$50,000 minimum, commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefits
