College of Saint Mary is seeking a dynamic leader to serve as our Head Coach for Competitive Dance.
This full-time position will allow a passionate coach to build an exceptional program.

• Consistently apply effective sport specific technical and tactical coaching
• Record of successful leadership and management of operating budgets
• Knowledge of the college recruiting process
• Demonstrate commitment to student-athlete development (mind, body, spirit)

Our Ideal Candidate’s Education and Experience Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study and three years of successful coaching
experience at the College level or five years at the high school and/or club level(s).

Our Ideal Candidate’s Education and Experience Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study and three years of successful coaching
experience at the College level or five years at the high school and/or club level(s).

• Preferred Master’s degree in an appropriate field of study and five years of successful coaching

experience at the College level.

This Position Is Responsible For:

• Successful recruitment of quality student-athletes to meet required roster target goals.
• Maintaining an 80% student-athlete retention rate, with the exception of graduating seniors.
• Monitor academic progress of the team to ensure a minimum 3.0 team GPA is maintained.
• Successfully managing within operational budget guidelines.
• Coordinate all press releases, social media communication, publications data, and other program

information with the Sports Information Director.

• Consistent notification of competition information to the Sports Information Director.
• Regular review of the CSM Athletics website.
• Compile and maintain athletic competition statistics/records and keep accurate historical records.
• Completion of required paperwork and nomination forms in timely manner to specific deadlines.
• Encourage, support and promote department or campus related fundraising events.
• Coordinate of all phases of a successful intercollegiate athletic team.
