The Waldorf University Athletics Department is seeking qualified and interested candidates for Head Esports Coach. This is a full-time position beginning August 1st, 2025, with preference to start part-time sooner for recruitment efforts. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to the mission of Waldorf University and be committed to the development of the student-athlete physically, mentally, spiritually, and morally. This position is primarily 10-month (August through May annually) position with limited time commitments during June and July to complete any ongoing recruitment activities, attendance or representation at orientation day and the Athletic department fundraising event(s), as well as monitoring and responding to email or messages as needed.

The Waldorf University Athletics Department is seeking qualified and interested candidates for Head Esports Coach. This is a full-time position beginning August 1st, 2025, with preference to start part-time sooner for recruitment efforts. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to the mission of Waldorf University and be committed to the development of the student-athlete physically, mentally, spiritually, and morally. This position is primarily 10-month (August through May annually) position with limited time commitments during June and July to complete any ongoing recruitment activities, attendance or representation at orientation day and the Athletic department fundraising event(s), as well as monitoring and responding to email or messages as needed.
Key responsibilities include in-game coaching, recruiting, budgeting, fundraising/sponsorships, alumni relations, community engagement, scheduling, promoting, training and conditioning, skill instruction, academic support, compliance, and game plan preparation and strategy. This position will be responsible for the continued development of a competitive and successful Esports program. Waldorf’s Esports program competes in approximately 20-25 events a year. Ideal candidate will be a skilled recruiter and appreciate student and program development. This position will also include a collateral within department or other area of the University to be determined.
