Saint Mary intends to pursue excellence, offering competitive athletic scholarships and quality facilities
for the new intercollegiate athletics program. This full-time position will allow a passionate coach to
build an exceptional program.

build an exceptional program.

Our Ideal Candidate’s Education and Experience Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study and three years of successful coaching
experience at the College level or five years at the high school and/or club level(s).

• Preferred Master’s degree in an appropriate field of study and five years of successful coaching

experience at the College level.

Responsibilities For This Position Include:

• Successful recruitment of quality student-athletes to meet required roster target goals.
• Maintaining an 80% student-athlete retention rate, with the exception of graduating seniors.
• Monitor academic progress of the team to ensure a minimum 3.0 team GPA is maintained
• Successfully managing within operational budget guidelines.
• Coordinate media communications and program information with the Sports Information Director.
• Consistent notification of statistical and game information to the Sports Information Director.
• Compile and maintain athletic game statistics/records
• Attend all scheduled full-staff athletic meetings and required KCAC coaches meetings.
• Maintain active membership and involvement in appropriate college coaching association.
• Encourage, support and promote department or campus related fundraising events.
• Manage and mentors assistant coaches.
• Develop and supervise flag football programs.
• Oversight of team operational and fundraising club accounts.
