The Head of Men's Soccer Coach/Assistant Compliance Officer Assists in overseeing all aspects of operating a successful college level intercollegiate athletic program. This role will report to the Director of Athletics. 

Essential duties:

  • Assist recruiting student-athletes who are mission fit, academically solid, and athletically skilled.
  • Adhere to, support, and follow the academic standards and requirements of the university regarding the recruiting and eligibility of prospective and current student-athletes.
  • Assist men’s soccer student-athletes in obtaining spiritual growth and track academic progress. Provide appropriate advice and assistance to help ensure the success of each student-athletes spiritual development and program of study.  
  • Report any known or suspected violations of the NCAA and/or university rules by head coach, assistant coach(es), student-athletes, staff, etc. promptly to the Director of Athletics.
  • Organize and supervise all practices, games, and other workout sessions for the men’s soccer team. Lead effectively in the instruction and coaching of student-athletes.
  • Assist the Compliance Officer to ensure that all student-athletes (including transfers) are eligible to participate in intercollegiate athletics programs by working with the NCAA Eligibility Center.
  • Ensure the University's athletics programs are in compliance with NCAA rules and regulations governing recruiting, amateurism, awards and benefits, playing and practice sessions, sports camps and clinics.
  • Work alongside the Compliance Officer with program reporting requirements for filing NCAA certifications forms, squad list forms, drug consent forms, student-athlete statements, and other related forms.
