Position Summary:
Iona University, an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), seeks a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as Head Coach for its newly reinstated varsity Menâs and Womenâs Tennis programs. This is a full-time, 12-month position reporting directly to the Director of Athletics. The Head Coach will be responsible for building and sustaining competitive tennis programs, ensuring the holistic development of student-athletes, and fostering a culture of academic excellence, sportsmanship, and competitive success.
The reinstatement of both tennis programs marks an exciting new chapter in Ionaâs proud tennis history. Menâs tennis began in 1953, capturing multiple league titles and producing three undefeated seasons in the 1970s. Womenâs tennis launched in 1979, becoming a charter member of MAAC womenâs tennis and earning strong league finishes. Both programs last competed at the varsity level in 2003 â now itâs time to write the next chapter.
