Basic Function:  Serves as an intern football coach, performs other duties as assigned by the Head coach or Senior Director of Athletics.

Duties and Responsbiliblites: 

1.   Coaches a specific assigned position

2.   Actively recruits new students from a specific assigned area.

3.   Works with Athletic Training staff concerning medical room operations, health servcies, exams, referrals, etc.

4.   Maintains all requested charts, statistics, film breakdown, practice planning, etc.

5.   Assists Head coach in overseeing the study table and weight room.

6.   Maintains awareness of and follows all NCAA and college rules

7.   Performs others duties as assigned.

1.   Performs responsibilities and meets identified objectives in a timely and effective manner and strives to fulfill the college's strategic agenda.

Qualifications:

1.   Related Bachelor's degree, plus any related coaching experience or equivalent.

2.   Evidence of excellent coaching skills and demonstrated organizational ability to recruit student-athletes and implement a competitive football program.

3.   Ability to quickly build rapport and to communicate effectively with a diverse population.

4.   Ability to coach an assigned team position.
