Responsibilities

 

Responsible for the day to day administrative management, operations, and budgetary oversight of Sports Cinema. Responsible for day-to-day video project responsibilities within Digital Media and Video Board needs. Responsible for planning and executing video shoots and overseeing the creative direction of the department. Possess a high-level editing skills in various video editing software. Responsible for establishing and implementing operational policies and procedures for related activities.

Responsible for planning and executing video editing projects to support digital media. Work closely with Marketing, Sports Information and Seminole Productions. Coordinates budget and serves as liaison to the Athletics Business Office, Athletics Compliance, and other University offices.

Supervise full time employees and OPS workers. Responsible for assigning tasks and projects to OPS staff and student workers based on skill level. Train student workers in areas of growth with design.

Responsible for presenting creative concepts and digital strategy to oversights and partners such as Learfield IMG College and Seminole Boosters. Responsible for keeping the office informed on all athletic matters so that other University officials may be notified on Athletic Department policy changes or areas of concern.

Qualifications

 

Bachelor's degree and six years of related experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to ten years. (Note: higher education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)

High-level editing skill in various editing software.

Minimum of two years of video editing experience.

Experience editing in venue video content for a sports team.

Ability to work regular office hours in addition to some nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
