Position Summary: York University is seeking applicants for the Men’s Wrestling Head Coach position to begin recruiting for the Fall 2025 academic year. The head coach is responsible for leading and managing a competitive Wrestling program, recruiting and retaining a roster of 30 student athletes, focusing on player development, strategic planning, and team performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an Accredited Institution.
• Firm commitment to the mission of York University.
• Christian Character displayed by:

1. Positive interaction with students, especially student athletes.
2. Christian attitude and behavior displayed during practice and competition.
3. Representation of Christian principles toward campus constituents; including

• Experience in coaching Wrestling preferably at the collegiate level.
• Proven ability to recruit student-athletes and provide spiritual leadership.
• Provide academic oversight for the men’s wrestling team.
• The ability to work within a budget outlined by the athletic department.

Salary/Benefits: Commensurate with experience.
