Job Overview:

The Offensive Coordinator will assist in all facets of directing and managing a successful football program to include a strong knowledge of offensive coaching strategies and oversee all aspects of the team offense.  Actively recruit quality potential student athletes. Ensure compliance with all NCAA and Misericordia rules and regulations.  As the Strength and Conditioning Coach this position will provide strength and conditioning programs for all of Misericordia University’s intercollegiate student athletes and teams by designing programs that are sport specific in nature, safety conscious, and in accordance with NCAA Division III compliance standards.

Work-Related Knowledge:

• Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• A strong commitment to the student-athlete concept.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university.

Experience:

• Prior playing or coaching experience at the college, university, or professional level.
• Demonstrated athletic leadership experience.
• Strong administrative, managerial, and interpersonal skills.
• Background in coaching quarterbacks or offensive line preferred.
• Experience in strength & conditioning is preferred.

 Licenses/Certification

• Current and appropriate type certifications required by the NCAA and/or the University.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Certification in strength & conditioning that allow for NCAA compliance regulations is preferred.
