Successful candidates will have the ability to work as part of a cohesive team, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate an ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A working knowledge of the daily operations of the Baylor Athletics Department and how Performance Nutrition supports those objectives is essential to the successful execution of this role.

A bachelor’s degree and an active Christian faith is required.

What You Will Do

• Food Service Operations: Provide oversight for Performance Nutrition product ordering and inventory management in collaboration with Chartwells dining staff. Collaborate with Performance Nutrition dietitians on managing team orders, travel nutrition needs, catering orders, and other team-specific food service needs. Assist Performance Nutrition dietitians with preseason training camp for Football. Coordinate with the Chartwells Athletics Dietitian to ensure appropriate stocking in all fueling station areas. Assist the Assistant AD for Performance Nutrition with management of catered snack funding (BearFuel) via RedCard Athletics, including scheduling periods for catered snack allotment and maintaining up-to-date rosters. Assist with handling specialty nutrition requests from individual sport teams.
• Student Worker Oversight: Assist the Director for Football Performance Nutrition with recruiting, scheduling and training of student workers . Provide daily oversight of student worker tasks and schedule. Plan and execute training opportunities and special events for student workers in conjunction with Performance Dietitians.
• Facilities: Manage stocking, organization and oversight of team nutrition spaces for specified Olympic teams (Acrobatics & Tumbling, Baseball, Equestrian, Men's Golf, Women's Golf, Soccer, Softball, Men's Tennis, Women's Tennis, Track and Field, Volleyball). Coordinate repairs and maintenance requests for Performance Nutrition spaces and equipment. Assist with facility stocking, receiving deliveries, and movement of product between facilities as needed.
• Other: Assist with expense reporting and compiling receipts for Performance Nutrition-related purchases. Provide support for content creation for the unit. Communicate appropriately with clinical staff, Baylor Athletics Business Office contacts, and Beauchamp Athletics Nutrition Center executive staff and Athletics Dietitian. Other administrative/operational duties as assigned by the Assistant AD for Performance Nutrition (or designee).
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
• Ability to comply withUniversitypolicies
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
