Position goal:

Position Summary:

This position will provide administrative support to campus Facilities and Athletics departments. The Operations Coordinator is responsible for general administrative assistance in support of the department's daily operations.

Essential Functions:

1. Provide advanced administrative support.

2. Check and distribute mail daily.

3. Process expense authorizations, purchase orders, bill payments, budget revisions, and individual reimbursements.

4. Assist with the supervision of the maintenance department

5. Collect and distribute work orders for the maintenance department and ensure timely completion.

6. In coordination with the VP of Facilities and Athletics, provide work orders for maintenance by observation on campus.

7. Supervise the day-to-day expenditures of the athletic department to ensure solvency.

8. Supervise the income and expenditures for all auxiliary accounts.

9. Install & monitor a system of checks and balances based on those policies, and procedures.

10. Plan and ensure that the overall athletic department budget is solvent at the end of the fiscal year.

11. Other duties as assigned by the VP of Facilities & Athletics

Other responsibilities:

1. Perform other related duties as assigned.

2. Participate in campus activities as available.

Education, experience, & skills required:

1. Bachelor’s degree required.

2. Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

3. General maintenance background.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Excel.

5. Ability to interact with a wide variety of backgrounds and personalities.

6. Professional discretion/confidentiality.
