Position: Athletic Trainer

Summary**  **

The Athletic Trainer at Grace Christian University is an essential role within the athletics department, with a commitment to provide services to our student-athletes that pertain to their health and well-being, focusing on injury prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.

Summary**  **

The Athletic Trainer at Grace Christian University is an essential role within the athletics department, with a commitment to provide services to our student-athletes that pertain to their health and well-being, focusing on injury prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. 

Essential Duties** :**

• A.T. coverage at all home sporting events throughout the year 
• Flexible scheduling for student-athlete treatment within 25 hour/week timeframe 
• Responsible for inventory of medical and training supplies
• Maintain a clean and functional athletic training room in the Aldrich Athletic Center 
• Liaison for Athletic Insurance 
• Build trusting relationships with student-athletes 
• Any additional responsibilities that advance our mission and uphold our organizational values according to your supervisor

Required Qualifications**  **

• Current NATA BOC Certification 
• State of Michigan Athletic Trainer licensure 
• First Aid, CPR, AED Certification 
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends 
• Acknowledge Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior and demonstrate personal maturity and Godliness,  growing in conformity to the image of Christ
