Job Description Summary
Assist team with producing live sports broadcasts. Coordinate pre-production elements as assigned, research home and visiting team storylines, communicate between producing and production teams, and ensure necessary materials are ready and delivered in time for assigned productions. Assist with content and file delivery following broadcasts.
Ensure both full-time staff and student workers/freelancers are properly equipped to put forth best effort on live sports broadcasts. Research and implement compelling storylines into broadcasts. Deliver video elements (melts, recaps, etc.) in a timely manner. Ensure sponsorships are properly incorporated into broadcasts. Produce assigned sports broadcasts. Proficient in working with tight schedules and in high-pressure environments. Must be a team player and exhibit leadership abilities, with strong relational and organizational skills. Other duties, as assigned. Will be required to work flexible hours, including frequent nights and weekends.
