Summary of Job Duties: The Quality Control – Offensive Support Assistant will help the offensive coaching staff prepare for practices and games by managing administrative tasks, organizing materials, and supporting video and data-processing efforts. This role is designed as an entry-level position to help newer staff members grow into more advanced quality-control responsibilities as they gain experience.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong interest in football; willingness to learn about offensive schemes, play terminology, and basic football analytics
Basic computer proficiency: comfortable using spreadsheets, presentation software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint), and general office applications
Willingness to learn video review/editing software (or ability to assist with basic video organization tasks) — prior experience a plus but not required
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher learning
Some familiarity with football (high school playing or watching, youth coaching, or general football knowledge)
Interest or experience in video editing or video-analysis software (e.g., basic comfort with video tools, even if not specialized)
Basic knowledge of football terminology, formations, or game flow (gained via watching games, playing, or studying)
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow direction
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Working knowledge of NCAA recruiting rules, timelines, and compliance expectations
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, graduate assistants, and video staff in a supportive role
Ability to work some nights/weekends, as needed for practice, games, and video-review sessions
Additional Information:
This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance.
