Job Summary

The Senior Associate Athletic Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a senior leadership position within the university's athletic department, responsible for providing strategic oversight of financial operations, budgetary planning, and fiscal management to support the mission and goals of the athletics program. Incumbent is frequently away from assigned work desk/phone due to official UNG work responsibilities or travel and requires real time communication with others.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for budgetary and account management for intercollegiate athletics and athletic facility operations.
• Performs financial and budgetary analysis, forecasts budgetary adjustments. Primary advisor to Director of Athletics with respect to financial operations and strategic planning.
• Prepares all mandated financial reports to include: annual EADA report, NCAA Financial report and the USG Athletics Annual report.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Performs financial and budgetary analysis, forecasts budgetary adjustments. Primary advisor to Director of Athletics with respect to financial operations and strategic planning.

• Provides oversight on all financial and business transaction activity for intercollegiate athletics.
• Supervise and evaluate assigned staff. Direct administrative and sport supervision of assigned programs.
• Contributes to the overall success of the athletics department by performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree
• Minimum of four years of job related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• CPR and AED. Must be willing to obtain other certifications as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred
