Job Summary:

Wisconsin Athletics is looking for a Social Media Content Producer. The ideal candidate will be a creative, forward and brand centered producer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adaptable to change. This position combines a passion for video content creation and the ability to deliver engaging and relevant social media content that showcases and promotes UW's student-athletes and the department's mission.

The key responsibilities for this role at Wisconsin Athletics include:
- Shoot, edit and produce short/long form video content for Wisconsin Athletics owned digital channels
- Produce digital video content that supports social media, marketing, recruiting, ticketing, development and other department needs
- Attend live events and produce social content in-game
- Assist other internal units with various video content projects
- Collaborate with other internal units to ensure brand voice and consistency
- Contribute to content strategy development
- Create videoboard content to support gameday presentation
- Provide insight to push the department forward with emerging trends in social, digital media, as well as in-venue entertainment

Responsibilities:

Creates and promotes digital content and organizes staff workflows for one or more identified digital platforms in a specified medium to communicate content and increase audience engagement. - 40% Writes, edits, publishes, and integrates content on digital platforms that engages with audiences, including interviewing sources, researching topics, and assembling relevant multimedia elements
