Position Summary

The Sports Equipment Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of athletics equipment, uniforms and other department owned supplies including the maintenance and inventory of said items for competition, practice and “every day” use.

Job Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides laundry services for team uniforms, practice gear and towels for the varsity teams ensuring laundry is done to correct specifications and health standards.
  • Maintains electronic inventory control system to ensure accurate recording of all purchases, repairs, maintenance and disposal of athletic gear and equipment. Inventories and distributes items to student athletes and staff.Responsible for the collection of all issued items annually generating inventory and lost reports for coaches and staff.
  • Responsible for issuing, maintenance and upkeep of equipment and gear for nineteen (19) varsity sports programs. Provides team members with necessary items for competition and practice. Monitor sand arranges repair of equipment, uniforms and supplies.
  • Organizes, stores and maintains varsity uniforms, equipment, practice gear, towels and varsity awards.
  • Supervision of student staff.
