Description

Albion College invites applications for the Staff Athletic Trainer position. The Staff Athletic Trainer supports the Head Athletic Trainer in providing medical services for all intercollegiate athletes (approximately 650 student-athletes) at Albion College. Works to prevent athletic-related injuries through proper education of both coaches and student-athletes and to evaluate and treat student-athletes after an injury occurs. This position assures compliance with applicable regulations, effective operations, and accuracy of data and security of assets. The Staff Athletic Trainer will design and implement basic fitness, nutrition, and strength and conditioning programs for student-athletes. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload with sensitivity and confidentiality. Must contribute to a campus climate that emphasizes a commitment to working with individuals and groups from a variety of identities, cultures and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field required 
• National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification (NATABOC) certification 
• State of Michigan Athletic Trainer license required
