| Job Summary/Basic Function |
Working alongside the Director of Communications, this position is responsible for providing media coverage for all programs in the athletic department. It involves overseeing the social media accounts for athletics, creating content for athletics and programs, updating the athletics website, and providing logistical and operational gameday support. This position will also provide recaps of all intercollegiate contests and special events connected with athletics and posted to the website and to social media. The position provide event coverage of all home contests and oversee select professional and student staffing. Staffing responsibilities include recruiting and mentoring students who will provide assistance in carrying out all game day responsibilities. This position will be responsible for working directly with coaches and teams in implementing social media and content strategies.
